ABOUT THE DESIGNER:

It was a chance encounter with a small, pink handmade fabric bag that instantly entranced me. Since it wasn't for sale, I knew I would have to make one myself.

I had fallen instantly in love with the colors and textures at the fabric store. irregardless. So I returned to Honolulu with a bag pattern and a suitcase of fabric, and bought a sewing machine.

It was harder than I thought to teach myself to sew. Eventually I learned to listen to the fabric and my creative process now is almost trance-like. With fabulous fabrics and a little help from Hadji and Peaches, every bag is designed and sewn by me.

My friends call my bags "works of art." I can only say they are works of love and deeply satisfying. Each bag is unique, so I hope you find the one made just for you.
